Unlucky Maissa! Look on the bright side though, your team is not the only team thatโ€™s out, Panama are awful - football is such a rollercoaster sometimes.

Reece M wrote:

COME ON COSTA RICA IT NEEDS TO WIN BUT IT STANDS NO CHANCE๐Ÿ˜ฑ

Maissa M wrote:

We are on the same boat! Oh wait, thereโ€™s no boat. Um... Saudi Arabia stands no chance too!!! ๐Ÿ˜‚

Anaya F wrote:

My team that I got was Sweden. They won one-nil against South Korea which was really good for me but they havenโ€™t played any other games sadly.

Ria M wrote:

It's so annoying when you have to wait for your team to play a game. It makes me feel impatient!

Vinutha M wrote:

My favourite team is England but when I picked out a random team from the hat I got Egypt and in the game they played really bad.

Timur P wrote:

I am sorry to say, but your out. :(

Easton M wrote:

I got France in the sweepstake and they have won both of their games. Personally, I think that the most exciting games so far have been Russia 5-0 Saudi Arabia, Portugal 3-3 Spain and Argentina 0-3 Croatia. The most nail-biting game has been Iran 1-0 Morroco

Aslan U wrote:

I despise Mexico because they beat Germany 0-1. Talking about Mexico, Ria, my partner, is Mexico!

Aslan U wrote:

Germany rocks!

Ria M wrote:

It is not my fault that they beat you. Don't be a spoilt sport! They earned their win and they deserved it.

Timur P wrote:

Yea Ria. It's how it is.

Sonia M wrote:

I love the world cup. I am so happy that England won their first game. :) :) :)

Ria M wrote:

Well done England!!! I will also support them because it will give them a boost in confidence ( not that they'll know that I'm supporting them ). Go England!!! ๐Ÿ˜ƒ

Leila A wrote:

I havenโ€™t really been watching the football - but I do know that Argentina are not doing as well as people have anticipated.

Timur P wrote:

Same, but I do know that Russia is like Superman!

Sebastian B wrote:

Also Tunisia the team that I got have never won a game in the World Cup befor. Do you think that they will win a game?

Lewis S wrote:

They will definitely win against Panama since I looked at both teams and Tunisia are far more superior than Panama.

Aslan U wrote:

I hope Tunisia gets through Seb.

Sonia M wrote:

I love the world cup. I am so happy that England won their first game. :) :) :)

Aslan U wrote:

Russia is an amazing place to hold the World Cup because it has many thrilling tourist attractions. I especially love the way that Germany have faced defeat but are ready for a big win next time.

Ria M wrote:

You never know. They could lose then they would be out.

Nancy W wrote:

I think that it was so much fun watching all the matches but my overall favourite match must have been Portugal versus Spain - all of the goals were fantastic
, my favourite was Diego Costaโ€™s. In the end, the score was three all. What an amazing, terrific game!

Lewis S wrote:

Because I always get rubbish teams in sweepstakes, I got Nigeria who have a tough group but they still have a chance since Argentina aren't very good anymore but at least they have a very cool kit. I'm supporting Denmark, Brazil and England. I think that Brazil's Neymar Jr. will get the golden boot (this means top goalscorer and I think that Belgium's Kevin de Bruyne will get the golden ball which means that they will be the best player of the tournement. I think that Brazil will win and England will get to the quarter finals and lose on penalties, since were not very at winning penalty shootouts.

Maxim S wrote:

Columbia lost 2-1 to Japan and now they are againsed Poland. So anoying!

Maissa M wrote:

Poor you! At least yours still has a chance of winning! I lost twice - so I have NO CHANCE of winning! ๐Ÿ˜ข๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ˜ข

Taha A wrote:

Do you like your team?

Ria M wrote:

Yes because they won their first match against Germany and they won their second game against South Korea. They are through to the next round!!! Mexico are proving to be a strong and great team! I am so glad I got them in the sweepstake. I think that if they work hard they could win the World Cup. High hopes for Mexico!!!๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜

Abdus S wrote:

Wow I cant belive that Russia has five points. I am so hyped up for Russia. What is your favourite team?

Reece M wrote:

Costa Rica just can not win.

Ria M wrote:

Poor you. :(

Sebastian B wrote:

In the sweepstake I got Tunisia who sadily lost to England in the World Cup. I can not believe lots of the good teams lost to thr alright teams. Do you think England will win the World Cup for the second time๐ŸŸ

David L wrote:

Im not such a big fan of football, but I have been told that the teem I have got (Belgium) is very good.

Lara C wrote:

I have done a sweepstake in my family and we split them into two groups good teams and bad teams. I got Spain and I have fogotten the other team. Also I got Poland in the school one I think they are doing okay.๐Ÿ˜€๐Ÿ˜€๐Ÿ˜€๐Ÿ˜€

In the sweep stake, I luckily got Brazil but their only doing ok because they drew against Swizerland. Seriously.

Samuel C wrote:

I am supporting Croatia as it is my favourite country. They won three nil againts Argentina who are the runners up of last years World Cup. I got Japan in the sweepstake and thought I was doomed; however, they did really well in their first match so could do well in the tornament.

Timur P wrote:

Do you know what I say when Russia score a goal?

Timur P wrote:

THEY FEEL LIKE SUPERMAN NOW!

Atika M wrote:

I got Switzerland. I am so going to WIN!! I already beat Brazil. ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿคฃ COME ON SWITZERLAND!!

Taha A wrote:

Talking the truth, I think that Mexico, Germany, Spain or Brazil.
Tell me who you think.

Oscar B wrote:

I am so exited about the new world cup! There are so many players from so many teams in so many nations! This is by far the most heartbreaking, exiting, exstatic and joyful event in not just football, but in the whole four years.

In this cup, I am supporting Spain, Portugal and Brazil. I am supporting Spain, because I usually go there for my holiday. Also, I love the club teams the players play for.

I like Portugal because I picked them out in the sweepstake that we did at school. Also, I like them because they have the best player in the world!

Finally, I like Brazil, because ever since my dad was little, he had loved the team.

I know that the England vs Panama was a week ago , but did you see how brutal Panama were ?They care more about wrestling the players to the ground than scoring - no wonder theyโ€™re out so quickly!
