School Dinners

IF YOUR CHILD IS IN RECEPTION, YEAR 1 OR YEAR 2 THEY ARE ENTITLED TO A FREE SCHOOL DINNER. PLEASE TALK TO OUR OFFICE STAFF TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THIS.

The school can provide a hot dinner for your child in Nursery and Years 3 to 6 also. The cost of the meal is £2.10 per day and must be paid in advance either weekly, termly or half-termly online using your gateway account - website www.schoolgateway.com - Logon to your account using your current email address and mobile number (the system will then send you a PIN number).

Children in Reception, Year 1 & Year 2 are automatically entitled to Universal free school meals, but you may opt for packed lunch if preferred.

You must decide on a termly basis if your child will have school dinners or bring in a packed lunch. If you wish to change you must give the school office 1 weeks notice to ensure that you are not inadvertantly charged for meals that have not been taken and that we don't order meals that are not required.

If your child is out on a school trip, and is on school meals, a packed lunch will be provided for that day.  If your child is off sick, and you notify the office before 9:15am why your child is absent, then you will not be charged for a meal on that day.

Friday Dinners

Your child may opt to just take a school meal on a Friday and bring packed lunches for the rest of the week.  This must be paid for termly in advance.  You can not pay weekly for Friday dinners.  Friday dinners must be paid fully at the beginning of the school term using the gateway payment system.
